A Quality
Microfilm Reader

It's what you should demand of any microfilm reader you buy ... even a used one. Unfortunately, many companies sell used readers that have had little done to them other than a quick fix repair. It's a short-sighted approach that gets the reader "sold" but doesn't serve the best interests of the customer.

My philosophy however is, "A job worth doing ... is worth doing well." I refuse to use quick fixes and patch repairs because they do not meet my standards. If a side panel is badly damaged or scratched it's replaced, not patched. If a reader is beyond repair, I use it for parts. In addition, each reader is carefully checked from top to bottom. Only after it has been repaired, tested, cleaned and polished is it put up for sale. All the readers I sell go through this process, even the brand new ones.

Careful Packing Counts!

I don't scrimp on materials. I routinely use double-corrugated boxes and lots of foam padding to ensure that your reader arrives safely. When needed, I hand-form my boxes to make them fit your reader. The larger heavier readers such as the MDPs, NMIs and Indus Super Carrels need this heavy duty protection to avoid damage during shipment. I encase them in a solid two inches of foam to provide the ultimate in protection. One customer recently commented that he thought I had shipped him a "Mummy" instead of a microfilm reader.

I don't sell mummies ... just quality refurbished readers.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you still have questions or would like additional information about a particular reader, even one I don't sell, email me. I will be more than happy to answer any question you might have about microfilm readers and/or reader printers.
