Packaging Counts!
The microfilm reader to the left was damaged during shipment to my shop. It would have been easy to blame the freight company. But in reality, the blame lies with the packaging which failed to protect the reader. It had been placed in a flimsy box with only wadded up newspapers as protection.

Superior Packaging

When it comes to packaging, I spare no expense. Whatever it takes to ensure your reader will arrive safely is what I use. I don't scrimp on materials. I routinely use double-corrugated boxes and lots of foam padding. And when necessary, I custom cut my boxes to make them fit your reader.

Here are some pictures showing how I package my readers. It may cost a bit more but the extra protection is worth it.

A larger heavier reader such as a Dukane MDP, Dukane Universal, NMI 2020 or an Indus Super Carrel needs this type of heavy duty protection to avoid damage during shipment. I encase them in two inches of solid foam to provide the ultimate in protection.

One customer recently commented that he thought I had shipped him a "Mummy" instead of a microfilm reader.

I don't sell mummies ... just quality refurbished microfilm readers.
