Microfilm Readers
What originally started out as a way to help my local genealogical
society (fixing and repairing their microfilm readers) has turned
into a microfilm reader repair shop. It's hard to believe but
I have been doing this for more than 12 years! To all my customers I
want to say thanks. For those of you considering a purchase,
here is what you can expect. No hide and seek games, I display
all my prices, including shipping fees, so that you can decide
immediately which make and model fits your budget. Each microfilm
reader has been cleaned, repaired and tested. Please note, with a
few exceptions, all of the following are USED microfilm readers.
Yes! You can pay with your credit card through Paypal!

Shipping fees higher outside the 48 contiguous
states.

Recordak MPE-1
Perhaps the most beloved microfilm reader of all time. Why? Because they
were built to last a lifetime. With a large viewing area, corner to corner
clarity and fast cranking handle their quality is still unsurpassed,
even by today's standards. Other readers are built out of composite woods
or plastic. Not the Recordak MPE-1! It's made almost entirely out of metal.
And yet, it's half the weight of most full size readers.
Built like a tank, it just may outlive your grandchildren!
Features: 90 degree image rotation. Handles 16 and 35 mm microfilm.
Price: $695.00
Shipping: $85.00
This is the last MPE-1 I have in stock!
Because of that, I am including
5 FREE bulbs with this reader.
You won't have to purchase any additional bulbs for years.

The Super Carrel is professional quality microfilm reader designed for
ease of operation, viewer comfort and long life. With precision,
laser-aligned optics, it projects an image that is exceedingly sharp
and clear. Libraries buy these readers for use by their elderly and
